Now or never
Do not let us do this, Creator of the Universe. How can we be a people who are able to land the equivalent of a dishwasher on a comet traveling so fast but can't have the moral chutzpah to save our own planet? Are all the dystopian
nightmares in film just an acquiescence to our own moral failings? We are going to vote in this pipeline and then it will be game over for the world you have given us. How can we do this? Why are we doing this? Create a movement in our midst that will not allow this to go forward. Do not let this go forward. Stop us. Halt us. Distract us with something shiny. Because we are acting like children and it may be our only way out. Do not let us do this, O God. Stop us. How can we kill ourselves in this way? Please do not let us. Amen.
