Universal Prekindergarten in NYC

Every once in a while, a courageous leader emerges that shows us the way, O God.  But I am also aware of the movements and peoples on the ground who have struggled long and have willed long term investment in those things that will bring life and growth.  I know there are many reasons this could fail that have nothing to do with the program itself.  I pray that you will give the leaders and administrators of this program the wisdom they will need to see it through.  Then let it spread, like wild fire (yes, God, like red bison), germinating the rest of our nation with what is necessary and real in our educational systems.  And in the requisite time, let these children lead us into a new day.  Amen.
